The Freeman, real name Renato Freeman, is a DJ and Producer from Santiago, Chile. His music is a mix between house, nüdisco, jacking, groove, funky house and disco.

The Freeman, who's real name is Renato Freeman, is a Chilean DJ and house music Producer.
Cultivating a rebellious and creative nature, The Freeman doesn't stick to a specific style during his sets. He believes that the essence of dance music shouldn't be narrowed to a single style , but rather, one should take the listener on a journey. His philosophy is to have the freedom to explore different styles and rhythms to make each night a different experience, which is why his sets mix tropical house, disco, indie-rock, house, progressive and more.
His passion for music and versatility as a DJ made him a resident in both underground and mainstream clubs across Chile, such as Amanda, Sala Gente, Sala Omnium, Araucano Park, Eve Club, Golf 50, W Hotel. He has also performed live shows during brand activations such as Levi's, Redbull , Miller, Movistar, Monster, Claro, Halloween, Desigual, Warehouse, 20th Century Fox and Goose Island, among others. He has also performed in certain music capitals like Amsterdam, Barcelona and Ibiza.
At the beginning of 2016 The Freeman released his first two tracks; “Goodbye Summer” and “Johnnie Summer”, with California based Blitz House Records to release. He later signed with Croatian record label A Must Have to launch his third track “The Walker”. He continued to build momentum and later signed four additional tracks with the Dutch label Housepital, whose roster includes Axwell, Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso, Avicii, Stefano Noferini, Firebeatz, Purple Disco Machine, Roger Sanchez, Dimitry Vegas & Like Mike among others. Finally, in 2017, he released another four tracks with American labels True House and Giggle Records.
